Eluterio Garcia Jr.
Our beloved Eluterio Garcia Jr., age 83, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Eluterio was preceded in death by his parents: Eluterio Sr. & Adela Garcia; sister: Janie Euresti; and brother, Elojio Garcia. Eluterio was a grandpa of many names, there was a grandpa, grandpa Telo, grandpa Eluterio, and grandpa Cats. When he walked into a room you would definitely know he never knew a stranger and always made things better when you had doubt or were feeling down. If you had a chance to speak with him he would tell you stories of his time while enlisted in the United States Air Force (he was very proud of that) and if you had a chance to see him play as a mariachi; you would hear the most beautiful songs. His voice would carry throughout any room in a building. You just knew when he was around the room was brighter and his laugh and carrying on with whoever he could talk to. If he spoke to you about his Mariachi days you would know that was his passion he would tell you about the times he played for the “Stars” such as Bruce Willis, Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Ann Richards, Lady Bird Johnson, Steve McQueen and some Presidential Families and State Senators just to name a few. He is and always will be the light not in a room, but in our hearts! Good bye Fat Cat… He is survived by his loving wife of 46yrs.: Consuelo Garcia; sons: Dean Garcia (Maria), Alfonso Garcia, Adam Garcia (Sue), Jesse DeLeon (Shirley), Roberto DeLeon (Vera) and Rogelio DeLeon (Rita); daughter: Angelita Flores (Viel); brother: Joe Garcia (Bertha); grandchildren: 15; great grandchildren: 40; and with other loving family members and friends.
