Ada Berniece Jones, 89, of San Marcos, Texas, died on Friday, October 15, 2021. Dora Velasquez, 63, of San Marcos, Texas, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. LaMarr M. Petersen kicked the bucket on October 21, 2021. He is survived by his loving daughter Shauna (Tom) Brace; granddaughters Alysha (Josh) Packard and Britny (Sam) Walker; great grandchildren Eva, Eli, Keira and Henry; and many nieces and nephews. Additionally, he leaves behind many fantastic neighbors and friends. LaMarr is preceded in death by the love of his life Jean; Sons Ken and Curtis; siblings Glade Petersen and Janice Coon; and niece Cindy Campbell. Celebration of Life has not been scheduled at this time.

Ronald E. Laidley passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 77. He was born September 30, 1944, in San Marcos, Texas to John M. and Dorothy (Mounce) Laidley.

Daniel Tovar Cadena, 38, of Lockhart, Texas, died on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Michael (Mike) Lee Pearce, 71, of San Marcos, TX died on October 13, 2021. Mike grew up living all around the United States, and even briefly Ireland, but settled in Texas in 1982 and loved it here. He worked as a deli manager, an office manager for his wife’s practice, and with computers, but also spent many years being a stay-at-home dad. He loved going out to eat, talking to friends and strangers, making puns, church, and going places. He was very handy around the house but not great at finishing projects. He had less than no interest in sports, hated ads on the television, and never wore the color blue.

Our beloved Dora M. Velasquez, age 63, of San Marcos was called home by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born on October 28, 1957, to the late Andres Munoz, Sr. and Augustina Munoz. Dora married the love of her life, Domingo Velasquez, Sr. on March 6, 1976, and they spent 45 amazing years together.
