Luis Alberto Duran, 41yr., resident of San Marcos,Texas, passed away October 16, 2021 in San Marcos, Tx

Pablo “Paul” Luera, Jr., of Martindale passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 73 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Kyle, TX, to Pablo Luera and Antonia Hernandez Luera.

Our beloved friend, husband, father, uncle and grandfather Jose “Joe” Escobedo Del Prado, Jr. passed away on October 10, 2021. We saw the signs that day, a cardinal in a tree, a wolf on a mountain – the angels came down to take him home. He was surrounded by his five grateful children and devoted wife, who lovingly cared for him as he battled Parkinson’s in his final years. He was born on July 23, 1935, in Runge, Texas to Leonor and Jose Del Prado. He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Manuela Madrigal, Herminia Tamez, Juanita Salinas and grandchild, Alexandra Del Prado.

Ada Berniece Jones, 89, of San Marcos, Texas, died on Friday, October 15, 2021. A memorial service will take place at Port Mansfield Community Baptist Church in Port Mansfield, Texas on Saturday, November 20 at 3 p.m. A second memorial service will take place at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, Texas on Saturday, December 18 at 3 p.m. Arrangements were under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home. Ronald E. Laidley passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 77. He was born September 30, 1944, in San Marcos, Texas to John M. and Dorothy (Mounce) Laidley.
