Last Meeting: Trailing 20-9 with less the five minutes in the fourth quarter, Texas State scored 12 points to take a 21-20 lead with less than 41 seconds left. The Bobcats stopped the Warhawks on their final drive seal the win and their first victory over ULM since 2021.

Memorable Moments: During the 2020 season, Texas State defeated ULM 38-17 for their first win over the Warhawks since the 2015 season. The win was highlighted by a 100-yard interception returned back for a touchdown by cornerback Jarron Morris.

Fun Facts about Louisiana Monroe: ULM captured the 1987 FCS National Title. The Warhawks finished the season with a 13-2 record with the two losses coming against Lamar and Louisiana. After winning with Southland Conference, ULM entered the playoffs as the No. 2 seed. After beating North Texas in the first round, the Warhawks proceed to win their next three games by three points and less including a 43-42 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd in the title game.
