Construction begins on San Marcos River Shared Use Pathway Project

Construction began on a new ADA-compliant bicycle and pedestrian trail on Monday, which travels around Children's Park, Rio Vista Park and Ramon Lucio Park.

The San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions provided refreshments for the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance Annual Meeting on Sunday as it has done for many years. The Bluebonnets were surprised by being presented the SMGA Volunteer of the Year Award, a handmade hiking stick carved with the Bluebonnet Lions Club name on it.
