Freddie Jr. is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcos & Fidela Garza and Dan & Adelfa Nevarez; brother, Frankie N. Garza; and nephew, Jaceb Fedro. 

Freddie Jr. is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Garza; his parents, Freddie & Sylvia Garza; daughter, Kimberly (Louis) Prado; sisters, Bobbie Garza (Roy)Hernandez; Gail (Jesse) Gonzales; Dottie (James) Fedro; Mandy Carreno (Ascarie Roana). He is also survived by his granddaughters, Penelope & Kaitlyn Prado, nieces, Courtney and Bianca Enriquez, Amber Fedro and Sylvia Ann and Savannah Carreno; nephews, Justin and Elijah Gonzales, and RJ Carreno.  He leaves behind many more loving family members and friends. 

Freddie Jr. will be remembered as the life of the party; for his gregarious laughter; and his big heart. Family was everything to him! He enjoyed his work as a concrete contractor and always strived for perfection; thus earning the nickname, “The Specialist.”  He relished a hardy discussion and was always ready for a good adventure.  One could count on Freddie Jr. to lend a helping hand.  

Serving as pallbearers are Roy Hernandez, Jesse Gonzales, James Fedro, Escarie Roano, Pete Quintero and Eddie Sullivan. Honorary pallbearer is Candelario “Buick” Esquivel.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 28th at the Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, TX with a prayer service and rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m, Saturday, February 29th at the Thomason Funeral Home and interment will follow at  Memory Lawn Memorial Park.  Visit Thomason Funeral Home's website.
