Born in San Marcos, Texas., the cherished daughter of Felicita Perez and Francisco Villanueva. “Lollie,” as many knew her, was raised with her sister Sarah and brother Guadalupe “Lupe or Joe.” She held many jobs prior to marriage, and was a beauty queen in her small town. She was married in Feb 1957 to Antonio Gonzalez in Fort Worth, Texas. Lollie and Tony traveled as an Air Force family for over 20 years. Finally, after retirement the two moved to Ohio where Lollie spent her remaining days. Lollie and Tony had three children: Rosa, Alicia, and Tony, Jr.; and a total of eight grandchildren: Deanna, April Rose, Raymond II, Owen, Gavin, Maribeth, Julianne and Annalise. After retirement and moving to Ohio, both Lollie and Tony became part of the Our Lady of Guadalupe community where Lollie found her calling for being a lay minister, something she had been proud of since. Her love for all her family, even the adopted ones, always brought her the truest joy. Tony, the love of her life, was always with her and promised he would never leave her. He kept that promise.
