Charlotte Ann Sutton Noble

Charlotte Ann Sutton Noble May 10, 1947 –

September 27, 2024 Charlotte Ann Leonard Sutton Noble, age 77, of San Marcos, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. Charlotte was born on May 10, 1947, to Leander Joseph Leonard Sr. and Ruby Lee Grier Leonard Pawelek in Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Our beloved matriarch, Charlotte, was the unifying force of our family, always pushing us to be our best. When needed, she was happy to step in with a warm meal or a helping hand. Her home was the heart of our family gatherings, no matter how crowded or lively, having a full house brought her joy. Her love was the glue that held us together through every joy, loss or challenge. She was our protector, peacemaker, and the best cook we knew. She adored her grandchildren and believed the best in all of them. She “loved them more”. She was an entrepreneur launching “Ceramics by Charlotte” in the early ‘80’s in the garage of her California home. Everyone that came into contact with her will remember her kindness, piercing blue eyes and humorous quick wit. Her presence was one of comfort, her legacy, one of enduring love, support and unity. She was beautiful, inside and out. She faced life's challenges with grace. As we say goodbye, we carry forward the strength, compassion, love and humor she instilled in us all. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Leander Joseph Leonard Sr. and Ruby Lee Grier Leonard Pawelek; first husband, James Howard Sutton; step father, James Pawelek; and daughter, Jamie Leigh Sutton. Grandparents Alexander D. and Gertrude Kolodziej Grier, William and Anita Broussard Leonard; sister, Darnell Rodriguez; brother Leander Joseph Leonard Jr.; and Nell Frances Steffek. She is survived by her husband Earl “The Pearl' Noble Jr.; daughter, Theresa Leeches (Michael); granddaughter, Samantha Major; grandson, Harvey Williams, III (Julia); granddaughter, Alexandria Williams; daughter, Robin Sutton (Jase); grandson, Jameson Sutton; grandson, Ronald Kinard; step daughter, Jennifer Martinez (Chris); granddaughter, Riley (Noe), great granddaughter, Delilah; grandson, Reed; daughter Jamie Sutton’s children: granddaughter, Haleigh Salinas (Joshua), great granddaughter, Jamie Salinas; grandson, Tristian Cichonsky; grandson, Jackobi Cichonsky; sister, Gwen Moczygemba (Roy); sister, Vickie Zidek (Alan); sister, Gertrude Jones (Charles); brothers in law Robert Rodriguez and Leonard Steffek; sister in law, Sherry Leonard; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
