Betty Jean Ybarra

Betty Jean Ybarra (Hill), 71, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2024. She was born on September 21, 1952 to Joseph Hartwell HIll and Oreon Marie McGlothing Hill in Seguin, Texas. Betty is predeceased by her parents, her husband Kenneth Ybarra Sr., and her brothers Donald Gerald Hill and James Edward Hill. She is survived by her daughter Annie Montana, son Kenneth Ybarra Jr (Rebecca), her grandchildren Logan Montana and Lillian Montana, her siblings Glenda Lea Wellman, Joseph Hartwell Hill Jr, Wesley Homer Hill, Janie Marie Sleeth (Michael), and Dora Ann Jones. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was a homemaker until her husband's passing after which she began her cosmetology career to help support her children. She worked alongside her mother-in-law, Grace Ybarra, for many years until the business closed. With work behind her, Betty was overjoyed in helping with her grandkids! She took pride in them and always loved sharing their photos and achievements with others.

Betty loved playing Bingo and enjoyed arts & crafts on her visits to the Senior Center. She loved her children, grandchildren, family and her little dogs and they will all miss her greatly..

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 5:00pm 8:00pm at Lux Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7:00pm.
