Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond N. Villanueva, her parents Consuelo & Refugia Chagoya, brothers David Chagoya and Ismael Chagoya.
She is survived by her children Adrian Villanueva, and Priscilla Cervantez (Eric); grandchildren Ezra Chavez (Juan), Luke Villanueva, Elijah Villanueva Cervantez, Elliana Cervantez, Emree Cervantez; great granddaughter Everlee Cervantez; brothers Juan Chagoya (Velia), Joe Chagoya (Cyndi), and Hilbert Chagoya; sisters Yolanda Garcia (Danny), Elsa Valdez, Linda Delgado (Rudy), Olivia Espinoza (James), and Sulema Garcia; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Mary married her husband Raymond Villanueva in 1967, marking the beginning of a life filled with love and devotion. Together they raised two children who later blessed them with five grandchildren and their first great granddaughter. The love they shared helped them form an unbreakable bond. They were truly two peas in a pod.
She was a dedicated employee of SWT for 27 years before retiring in 2006 to help care for her grandchildren and parents. She enjoyed watching telenovelas and her evening chats with her sister and Tia. Mary was small in stature but had a bold personality, never afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She had a loving heart always worrying about others and eager to help. She was a mother hen to many.
Mary was a woman of strong faith and deeply missed having her husband by her side. Her absence will be greatly felt by those who loved her. Her family bids farewell and look forward to meeting her again in paradise.
The Villanueva family would like to thank the numerous physicians who tended to her. They would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to their family and friends for their prayers, company, donations, and strength during this difficult time. May the Lord bless you all.
