David Howard Jordan, 73, of Taylor, Texas, died Monday, July 1, 2024. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 Hwy 195, Killeen, TX 76542.

David was born November 15, 1950, to Russell and Dolores Jordan in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Inglewood High School. He served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War, and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

David married Alber Jean Flowers on February 14, 2009. He worked as a Corrections Officer in Hayes and Caldwell Counties for 20 years and for Austin-Bergstrom Intl. Airport. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in San Marco, TX, and was Commander of the American Legion in Lockhart, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alice Jordan, brother, Roger Jordan and grandson, Everett Jordan.

Survivors are his wife, Alber Jean Jordan of Taylor, TX; sons, Jeffrey Jordan (Laura) of Kyle, TX, and Shawn Flowers of Elgin, TX; daughter, Amanda Kloss (Michael) of Lockhart, TX; bonus daughter, Natasha Easley of Elgin, TX; brothers, Kenneth Jordan of Los Angeles, Ca., and James Jordan of Las Vegas, NV; and eight grandchildren.
