went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2024, at 90 years old. She was born in New Braunfels on October 15, 1933, to Catarino and Juana (Jimenez) Gonzales.

She married Joe F. Moreno, Sr. on February3, 1956 in Seguin, Texas. She was a member of Union Funebre De Padres Familiares of New Braunfels and Union Mutua De Padres De Familia De Marion, Inc.

Estella was co-owner with her husband Joe of J's Mini Mart located on the southwest side of New Braunfels for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe F. Moreno, Sr., and several siblings.

She is survived by her son, Joe Moreno, Jr.; daughters, Beatrice Reyes and husband Marcelino and Rachel Moreno; grandchildren, Leejay Moreno, Felicia Moreno, Monica Villarreal, and Maranda Perez; 17 great grandchildren, 8 greatgreat grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, March 26th, 5:008:00PM at Pennington Funeral Home, 323 N. Comanche St., San Marcos, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27th, 10:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas. Burial will follow at 1:30PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
