He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Brandyce Bell-Adcock; and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Scotty Bell; his son, Jason Bell and wife Ronda; and his grandsons, Brandon Bell and Justin Bell, all of Lubbock.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 10:00am - 12:00pm at Pennington Funeral Home, 323 N. Comanche St., San Marcos, Texas. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00pm at San Marcos City Cemetery.
