, 84, a resident of San Marcos, Texas, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
Robert was born on July 2, 1939, to Porfirio and Ignacia Quintero in San Marcos, Texas. Post education, he entered the workforce as a migrant worker and eventually met the love of his life, MaryAnn. He built a life together for 64 loving years raising seven children, while being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and BBQ enthusiast.
During this time, he dedicated his life to providing for his family through hard work and perseverance in the family trucking business for over two decades.
As a husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, God-fearing man, and a lifetime parishioner of St. John’s Catholic Church, he committed his life to passing the Word to his children.
Robert is survived by: Sons: Robert C. Quintero JR (Patricia Quintero): Pedro Quintero (Yvonne Quintero): Joseph Rudy Quintero (Agustina Quintero). Daughters: Linda Q Machado (Ronnie Machado), Sylvia Quintero, (Natalie Taylor): Roxanne Q Garza (Angel Garza), Nancy Q Segura (Adrian Segura). Brother, Juan (Elemencia) Lozano. Numerous special nieces and nephews. 22 Grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Robert is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Ann Natal Quintero, parents, Porfirio & Ignacia Quintero, sisters: Ruth Chagoya, Carmen Martinez, Dominga San Miguel, Rosa Andrada. Brothers: Enrique Quintero, Baldomero Lozano, Martin Quintero and Pablo Quintero. Great Grandchildren, Jaren Cortez & Samantha Esperanza Garza.

The Quintero Family will receive friends and family at St. Johns Catholic Church on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10:00 am. with a brief viewing starting at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
