Our beloved Alicia Marmolejo Tamez Lopez, age 71, resident of San Marcos, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Tamez Sr.; her parents, Marcelino & Maria Marmolejo; brothers, Marcelino Marmolejo Jr., Joe Marmolejo and David Marmolejo; sister: Isabel M. Torres.

Alicia was a soft-spoken person who loved her children and family until she was taken from us by Lord Jesus Christ. The family finds solace in knowing our dear Mother is at peace in the beautiful memories she left behind and the special moments we shared together.

She is survived by her children: Mary Alice Tamez, Felix Tamez Jr., Debbie Ann Tamez, and Joseph Tamez; Brothers: Johnny Marmolejo (Geniva), Pete Marmolejo (Elia) and Freddy Marmolejo (Frances); sisters: Lucia Marmolejo, Maria Estella Tijerina and Velia Guadalupe Hernandez (Ernest); grandchildren: Manuel Tamez, Christopher Tamez, Adrian Perez, Daisy Perez, Jessica Perez, Esmeralda Perez, April Perez, Isabel Cruz, Desiree Romero, Antonio Villalobos III, Nicole Tamez, Michael Tamez and Jay Tamez; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Private Memorial services were held Saturday, February 10, 2024.
