Nancy Jaster
Nancy was born on November 21, 1951 in Panama City to her parents Allen and Rosa. Nancy was married to her husband Albert Jaster in San Marcos, Texas on June 27, 1980.
Nancy graduated from Cristobal High School in Panama and was a member of the National Honor Society, co-editor of the Yearbook, member of the French Club and the Caribe Club. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barry College in Miami, Fla. in 1973. Nancy had a passion for teaching as a French and English teacher to Junior High for 34 years. After retirement in 2011, she continued substitute teaching at San Marcos High School and Special Education Department. She was recognized for her teaching expertise by the Hays County School District as the Teacher of the Year in 2009. After retirement she was able to pursue her love of travel.
Nancy is survived by her beloved children: Megan Jaster, Chelsea Jaster, Kaitlin Jaster Gilstrap and Spouse Albert Jaster. Nancy had two grandchildren, Theodore and Baron Gilstrap.
A funeral will be held for Nancy on December 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in San Marcos.
