City, county offices closed for MLK Day

City of San Marcos and Hays County offices will be closed Monday to observe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
San Marcos City Hall, public library, activity center, municipal court, animal shelter, discovery center and utility offices will be closed.
San Marcos THE BUS routes won’t operate on Monday. Normal operation will resume on Tuesday.
Trash and recycling services will run on schedule for the week. The tourist information center will be open during normal business hours.
Animal control officers will also respond to emergencies. Emergency animal services can be contactedby calling the San Marcos Police Department non-emergency line at 512-753-2108.
Hays County offices will be closed on Monday, however, county parks will be open.
