Gary Job Corps volunteers at Hispanic Business Convention

Gary Job Corps Center’s HOPE Group (Helping Other People Excel) volunteered at the Hispanic Business Convention of Texas at Embassy Suites. The volunteers got to visit with J.R. Gonzales, Executive Director of Buda Chamber of Commerce and Executive Vice Chair of TAMACC. Mr. Gonzales shared tips on business practices and how to conduct yourself during business meeting. Volunteers also got to meet Robert Rizo, City Councilman of Kyle, San Marcos Mayor Jane Hughson, County Judge Ruben Becerra, and VIP for the Women’s Empowerment luncheon at the convention, Cecilia Conti from El Rey Network.
