The city of Kyle invites the community to get updates, ask questions, and learn more about several of the eight 2022 Kyle Road Bond Projects at two upcoming Neighborhood Update events.
In November 2022, city of Kyle voters approved Proposition A, a road bond for eight transportation projects across Kyle for 10.3 total miles of new location, reconstruction and widening projects to improve the city’s transportation network, according to a city press release.
These projects will provide additional capacity to support current and future traffic, strengthen connections between the east and west sides of Kyle and construct key segments of the Vybe trail system.
The first Kyle Road Bond Neighborhood Update, covering the Kohlers to Seton and Bebee Road Projects is Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gemstone Palace, 1101 Bunton Creek Road.
The second Kyle Road Bond Neighborhood Update, covering Old Stagecoach Road, Center Street and Marketplace Avenue Road Bond Projects will be Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St.
These will be comeand- go style events that give residents the unique opportunity to delve into the details, ask questions and provide valuable feedback on each of the projects, officials stated.
There will be various stations at both Neighborhood Updates that provide detailed information about the projects giving residents a chance to absorb specifics, understand project timelines, and see how these improvements will benefit the community.
These stations will also offer multiple ways for community members to record comments and suggestions.
The next Kyle Road Bond Neighborhood Update is tentatively scheduled for Monday, Dec. 4.
