HONORING THE CONSTITUTION: Sons, Daughters Of American Revolution Celebrate Constitution's 233rd Birthday
Local members of the Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution gathered Thursday to honor the U.S. Constitution's 233rd birthday at the First United Methodist Church in San Marcos. "While Independence Day is a well-recognized and beloved national holiday, fewer people know about Constitution Week, an annual commemoration of the living document that upholds and protects the freedoms central to our American way of life," said DAR President General Denise Doring VanBuren in a statement.
