Representatives from Tesla visit Gary Job Corps

Recently, representatives from Tesla visited Gary Job Corps Center to discuss the possibilities of partnering with the center in training students today for the tomorrow jobs at Tesla. Representatives from Texas Workforce Commission, MP&F, U.S. The Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration also attended the meeting.

Recently, representatives from Tesla visited Gary Job Corps Center to discuss the possibilities of partnering with the center in training students today for the tomorrow jobs at Tesla. Rachel Torres, National Director of Job Corps and Thony Martino, Regional Director, Office of Job Corps, were sharing with the Tesla representatives the opportunities for all parties involved. Texas Workforce Executive Director Edward Serna also commented about where opportunities were a possibility.

Visitors toured the CNC/Machine Shop and Material Handling Trades, spoke to students and instructors concerning their training and what their future ambitions upon graduation from the job corps program. Following the center visit, representatives expressed a likelihood for training Gary Job Corps students with opportunities within the Tesla Organization.
