Ricardo A. Garcia, 60yr., resident of San Marcos,Texas, passed away September 25, 2021 in San Marcos, Tx

Ricardo "Rick" Garcia, 60, accepted his final hunting and fishing license under our dear Lord, Saturday, September 25, 2021. Born in San Marcos, Texas, Rick was the son of the late Remigo & Severiana Garcia. At a young age, he danced Folklorico even though he disliked it, but his mother was adamant about him learning. Fast forward to his early 20s, he loved to dance and go to the Seguin Ballroom to show off his dance skills with friends. Years later he went to ACC and got his Mechanic license and was employed by Goodyear, City of Seguin, the City of San Marcos, and SMCISD. His last job was Hill Country Waste Solutions.

Margaret “Peggy” Ellen Foreman, 70, of Wimberley, Texas, died on Friday, September 24, 2021. A liturgy will take place on Monday, September 27 at 9 a.m. at the St. Sophia Orthodox Church in Dripping Springs, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at the Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Kendalia, Texas. Crispin Hernandez passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was 77 years old. He was a resident of San Marcos. He is preceded in death by his parents; Sixto Hernandez and Hermelinda Benitez; brothers; Domingo Hernandez, Paul Hernandez; and Aunt Vicenta H. Ruiz. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sulema V. Hernandez, son Crispin C. Hernandez; daughter Sulema H. Dominguez (Fred) brothers Jesse Gonzales; Ruben Benitez, sisters Frances Villela; Gloria Rendon, Linda Gonzales; Josie Degollado; Juanita Benitez; Linda Villela; Estella Jurado, and Juanita Benitez. He had 9 grandchildren , 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and other family members; 1 close friend, Johnny Reyes and numerous others.

Henry Robert (Bob) Bales, Jr., 95, from Kingsland, Texas, passed away peacefully on 13 September 2021, in Frisco, Texas. Born in San Marcos on 17 May 1926, he is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida Bales and is loving wife of 72 years, Aileen Seeliger Bales.
