Sales teams take high honors at international competition

Seven Texas State University students recently represented The Center for Professional Sales from the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University at the 12th Annual International Collegiate Sales Competition held in Orlando, Florida, from Nov. 1 to 5. The students are Ashley Zamponi, Bryson Moore, Miceala Tejada, Ashlyn McGaughan, Guillermo Olvera, Molly Akers and Josh Posey.

San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees listened to another presentation and additional public comment on the possible restructure of the board from five single-member districts and two at-large trustees to seven single- member districts at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Nov. 13. There were only two public comments on the item: one was for the restructure of the board and one was against it.
