‘Shirts & Shorts’ unfolds tonight

Tonight, Cinema Club hosts their second-ever Shirts & Shorts: an exhibition of local short films, plus newly designed film-society T-shirts, hand-printed on site at Wonder World Cave and Park at 6:30 p.m.

Bring your own blank tee for a free screen-printing, else buy a used shirt from Cinema Club.  Designs hail from artists Dayann Pazmino and David Viejo Perez.

Short films featured include works by: Anita Azenet, SMTXsessions, Junichi Royal, Enoch Rios, Jess Mason, Christopher Paul Cardoza, Jennifer Moore, Clint McCrocklin, Megan Knize, Jeanne Stern, Marquese Kese, Zachary Ballinger, Wimberley Valley Watershed Association and The Wildrice Collective, among others.

A limited-seat, enchilada dinner atop Wonder World Tower, catered by  The Que Bonito Project of Seguin, commences at 5:30 p.m. to raise funds for this year’s Lost River Film Fest: Oct 17-20.

VIP Badge Holders to the 2019 film fest enjoy free admission to the unique sunset meal, which otherwise costs $20. Dinner tickets as well as VIP Badges are available at Lost River Film Fest's website. They can also be purchased onsite tonight.

This springtime, Wonder World Cave and Park will transform itself into a magnificent adventure park displaying art, starting with a Rene Perez mural and new community partnership with Mermaid Society of Texas.

In honor of Shirts & Shorts, today Wonder World offers a generous discount on Cave Tours: mention “San Marcos Cinema Club” to the cashier and pay just $11 (instead of $19.95 regularly).

Plummet into the Balcones Fault Line!  See fossilized prehistoric life!  Inspect evidence of past geological eras!  A 116-year-old, earthquake-crafted Show Cave — where alcohol illicitly thrived during Prohibition!

Shirts & Shorts is made possible through crucial funding from the San Marcos Arts Commission.
