Jeff L. Rose, Republican, is a judge for Place 1 of the Texas Third District Court of Appeals. He assumed office on November 12, 2010. His current term ends on December 31, 2020. Rose is running for re-election for the Place 1 judge of the Texas Third District Court of Appeals.
Rose was appointed to the 353rd District Courd in November 2009 by Governor Rick Perry. He was defeated in his race for the seat, but following the election, Gov. Perry appointed him to the appellate court. Before becoming a judge, Rose worked in the Texas Attorney General's Office and as a private practice lawyer.
Rose earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.
