Sharry Kay Wells Rathburn, of San Marcos, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at age 74 on Monday, September 7, 2020, in her hometown of Pasadena, Texas. She was born January 18, 1946, in Houston, Texas, the oldest daughter of Albert Lee Wells and Willie Fay Corder Wells.

Sharry Kay Wells Rathburn, of San Marcos, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at age 74 on Monday, September 7, 2020, in her hometown of Pasadena, Texas. She was born January 18, 1946, in Houston, Texas, the oldest daughter of Albert Lee Wells and Willie Fay Corder Wells.

Sharry was preceded in death by both parents, Albert and Willie Fay Wells; step-daughter, Katherine Conoly; and grandson, Weston Conoly.

She was a deeply loved and cherished family member; a friend to many. She was known to grandchildren as Mamaw Cow and Grandma. She was a wine connoisseur, an accomplished shopper, and a sureshot hunter, but she was best known for her contagious laughter, her limitless love, her unmatched generosity, and her lavish gourmet skills.

Sharry is survived by her best friend, her husband, Lloyd Calvin Rathburn; two children and their spouses, Tammi Manson (Chris) and Bubba Livingston (Gloria); 2 step-children and their spouses, Sandy Nelson (Kevin), Lloyd Eden Rathburn (Laurie); 4 siblings and their spouses, Loyd Wells (Judy), Ben Wells (Linda), Ernie Wells (Barbara), Susie Wells; step-mother, Blanche Wells; 15 grandchildren and their spouses, Misti Charo (Corey), Meagan Canales (Kyle), Joey Kaminski (Paige), Mikayla Larkin (Trevor), Taylor Livingston and Eryn Livingston, Shantell Smith (Matt), Kevin Nelson (Sadie), Grant Nelson, Will Conoly, Tori Glueck (Paul), Kaycie Rathburn, Wyatt Conoly, Wylder Conoly, David Brandtner; 11 great grandchildren, CoriRae, Peyton, Grant, Rylie, Slayte (arriving in October), Jackson, Olivia, Michael, Dylan, Lillian, and Paisley; and special friends Ronald and Sandy Livingston.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13th, 5-7 p.m.; Funeral Service on Monday, September 14th, 10 a.m., both at Pennington Funeral Home. Interment to follow at San Marcos City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Kaminski, Corey Charo, Trevor Ferguson, Brian Wells, Kyle Canales and Chet Haywood.
