Crockett Elementary School is presenting its annual musical which involves fifth grade students. This is the fourth year for the musical production.

This year’s production is “Alice in Wonderland” and audiences are invited to attend the first two weekends in February. Many of the performers are the younger siblings of performers in the first production (The Lion King). This musical is based on the 1951 Disney film and the works of Lewis Carroll. Come get reacquainted with Alice, The White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and all the other fantastical characters of Wonderland.
After checking his watch, the White Rabbit (Charles Helgeson) laments to the audience that he is late.
Proceeds from tickets will go to the Crockett music program and to future musical productions. Tickets are available in advance from cast and crew members or the Crockett office. Tickets are also available at the door. The cost is $5, children under 5 are free. Show dates are Feb. 1,2 and 8,9. All showtimes are 7 p.m.
Alice (Brynn Gardner) bored by her sister Mathilda’s lessons of history, falls asleep and slips into the absurd land of Wonderland.
The Dodo Bird (Hazel Close) and three Rock Lobsters (Daniel Putegnat, Kira Vickers and Isaac Herrera) perform “Ocean of Tears” as they ride together through the ocean created by Alice’s tears.
Tweedle Dum (Aldo Huebner) and Tweedle Dee (Roy Gano) make Alice’s (Brynn Gardner) acquaintance to the confusion of everyone involved in their performance of “How D’Ye Do and Shake Hands.”
