San Marcos Volleyball capped the year off with its awards banquet last Wednesday.
Senior libero Julia Gutierrez was named Most Valuable Player and was recognized for breaking the school’s single-season record for digs with 715. Junior setter Julia Antu was honored for finishing the season with the most aces (49) and assists (525).
Junior middle blocker Samantha Booth rejected the most shots with 31 total blocks. Junior outside hitter tallied the most kills with 335. Senior setter Victoria Alvarez won the Rattler Pride award and senior outside Jordan Helbig received the “Forever 10” honor.
