Several San Marcos Academy Bears received All-District honors in TAPPS Division 3, District 3.
On defense, lineman Gordon Murphy and defensive back Daven Meredith were named to the First Team, All-District, along with punter Dino Dipollino.
Linebacker Robby Newman and defensive back Alex Davis received second team honors, while honorable mention went to lineman Julian Hernandez-Enriquez, linebacker Brett Houston and defensive back Animaan Singh.
On offense, Second Team, All District picks included quarterback Bryce Patterson, running back Robby Newman, wide receivers Brendan Loyd and Zach Whitaker and athlete Gino Dipollino.
Honorable mention offensive players were linemen Mac Daniel Howard, Will Lane, Ayo Adekunle and kicker Inaki Infante-Valenzuela.
The Bears finished the 2019 season with a 6-5 record and a spot in the TAPPS Division 3 state playoffs.
