Johnny Duran Ramirez, of San Marcos, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the young age of 47. He was born to Guadalupe (Duran) and Juan A. Ramirez in San Marcos on June 22, 1972.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Jesse Salinas, Louie Salinas, and Lupe Rocha.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Rincon, of 25 years, children, Vicky Ortega, Valarie Rodriguez, Robert Bernal, Marissa Bernal and Joey Medina; mother, Lupe Salinas; siblings, Paul Salinas, Janie Cruz, Anna Quintanilla, Gloria Alacron, Mingo Salinas, Manuel Salinas, Chris Salinas, Abel Salinas Sr, and Mary Duran; as well as 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and a great friend. He worked at HEB Warehouse for 28 years and was overjoyed to return. He loved to spend time with family, go fishing and never missed a Dallas Cowboy game.
Visitation will be held at the Thomason Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 3, 2109 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be held at the Thomason Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. The Burial will follow at the Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
