Epic Piping, a turn-key industrial pipe fabrication firm located in San Marcos, received the Business Champion Award from the Austin Chamber on Thursday.
The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce nominated Epic Piping for the award for its partnership with San Marcos Consolidated ISD. The San Marcos-based company has partnered with the school district to train students and teachers in welding and manufacturing. Epic Piping has donated the school district funds, supplies, time and in-house welding instructors.
