This year National Wear Red Day, is Friday Feb. 1st. This is the American Heart Association’s annual day of awareness surrounding heart disease in women. Heart disease and stroke cause one in three deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.
The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative Go Red for Women is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.
