Police cars and a helicopter shook things up in the normally quiet Redwood area Tuesday afternoon during what was a search for a car thief.
San Marcos Chief of Police Chase Stapp said the vehicle was stolen earlier in the day in San Marcos, and his officers assisted Guadalupe County deputies in the search, which proved unsuccessful.
