Texas State fell to ULM, 24-14, on Thursday. 

The Warhawks iced the game with an 11-yard touchdown run by fifth-year senior running back Austin Vaughn with 1:46 left in the contest.

A wild two-play sequence allowed Texas State to score its second touchdown of the night. 

The Bobcat defense came up with a fumble recovery when sophomore nose tackle Nico Ezidore stripped ULM's Johnson and senior linebacker Clifton Lewis Jr. picked up the ball and returned it 26 yards to the Bobcat 38. 

On the following play, Texas State sophomore quarterback Tyler Vitt found sophomore Trevis Graham Jr. for a 62-yard touchdown.

ULM pushed its lead out 17-7 with a 34-yard field goal by sophomore kicker Jared Porter.

Texas State cut the deficit in half when true freshman running back Calvin Hill took his second collegiate handoff 3 yards into the endzone. 

The Bobcats used a 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive to cut the ULM lead to 14-7.

The Warhawks extended their lead with an 11-play, 80-yard touchdown drive capped off with an 8-yard touchdown run by Johnson

ULM scored a touchdown on its opening drive. 

The Warhakws used a 1-yard run by junior running back Josh Johnson to go on top 7-0.

Texas State (2-3, 1-0 Sun Belt) takes on Louisiana-Monroe (2-3, 1-0) in a Thursday-night affair. 

The Bobcats had a bye-week following their 24-3 win over Nicholls on Sept. 28. The Warhawks fell to No. 23 Memphis, 52-33, on Saturday.
