Britton Robert Myers of San Marcos passed away Monday, September 9th, 2019 to be with our Lord. Britton was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 8th, 1937 to parents Robert and Mary Belle Myers. A graduate of Lubbock High School in 1956, he took two semesters of college at Texas Tech University before enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1957. During his time deployed to England, he met his wife of 59 years, Rosemary Irene Crouch. After 5 years of military service, they returned to the United States.

Britton worked for various companies and later created his own business involved in graphic arts, computer design and advertisement. Britton enjoyed the outdoors including camping and fishing and had a love of photography.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Bobbitt of Seguin, Texas who passed away earlier this year.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Irene, their two sons, Samuel James and Christopher Robert, their wives, Sandra Lynn and Stephanie Marie, five grandchildren (James, Joshua, Penelope, Sophia and Britton), his sister and brother-in-law Sanford and Kay Swope and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 28th beginning at 11 a.m. at PromiseLand Church in San Marcos. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
