Tiff's Treats holds Grand Opening

Tiff's Treats holds Grand Opening

Tiff’s Treats, the original warm cookie delivery concept, will celebrate its first San Marcos location Saturday, Aug. 24, with a grand opening from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Tiff’s Treats store at 200 Springtown Way. The charitable kickoff will support the Hays County Food Bank and feature Tiff’s Treats classic warm cookies for $5 per dozen.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. The first 40 people in line at 9 a.m. will each receive a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All guests could find prizes inserted in random boxes of cookies and will have a chance to win free cookies for a year. As a part of the grand opening festivities, customers can purchase up to six dozen cookies per person in fan-favorite flavors chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin for just $5 a dozen.

“As our business expands nationally, we’re thrilled to continue growing in our home state of Texas and to now serve the San Marcos area,” said Tiffany Chen, Tiff’s Treats co-founder.

Grand opening attendees who bring new, unopened canned food to donate will receive a $5 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All sales from the day, up to $5,000, will go to the Hays County Food Bank to provide meals for individuals in the community. One dollar provides four meals, and with this donation, Hays County Food Bank will be able to provide up to 20,000 meals.

Tiff’s Treats bakes and delivers warm, fresh cookies and brownies on demand. Customers can place delivery orders for homes, schools or businesses, or can drop in to the new store, located in the Lyndon at Springtown, to satisfy a sweet tooth or pick up their order. Normal business hours are 9 a.m. – midnight Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. – midnight Saturday and Sunday.

Tiff’s Treats stores are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the grand opening event.

Founded in 1999, what started as two friends baking cookies at The University of Texas at Austin to help fellow students get through exams has now grown to 52 stores in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina with more than 1,000 employees, baking more than 100 million cookies since its inception. And the company is consistently focused on giving back: with grand opening fundraisers that fill needs for charities (and hungry bellies for Tiff's Treats fans!), Tiff’s Treats has donated more than $200,000 to worthy causes.
