The Dalers won state championships during her junior and senior years. She was named New York State Player of the Year in 2002 and was a McDonald’s All-American in 2004.

Quin went on to play at Duke from 2004-2008, helping the Blue Devils reach the NCAA round of eight twice as well as receiving two all-Atlantic Coastal Conference team nods. Quin went on to represent the United States as part of the Under-23 team, winning the Nordic Cup in a 3-0 win over Germany in 2008.

After her playing career, Quin returned to Farmingdale in 2009 as an assistant coach for the boys’ varsity team. She spent time as an assistant coach at Durham University in the United Kingdom and William & Mary in Virginia from 2011-2012 before serving five years as an assoicate head coach at Army West Point. The coach joined the Texas State staff in July 2018.

“It is a great honor to be named to the third class of the New York State High School Girls Soccer Hall of Fame. There is no doubt that New York State girls' soccer has a tremendous tradition of developing talent and is rich in competition," Quinn said in a statement. "Each class of inductees has garnered admirable successes on and off the pitch. I'm grateful for all of my coaches, especially my high school coach Kevin Shanley, and teammates throughout my playing career. They were the ones that pushed, inspired and helped me develop my intense passion for the game.

“Farmingdale High School soccer has played an important role in my success as a student-athlete and now a collegiate coach. Thank you to the Novaks and the Hall of Fame officers for creating this much needed organization. Against, it is an honor to be selected with so many great names to the Hall of Fame.”

Quin will be one of 16 inductees in this year’s class. The induction ceremony takes place on Sept. 7 in Herkimer, New York.
