Bobcat Pride Scholarship Foundation will hold its 15th birthday celebration on Saturday, April 12, from 1 - 4 p.m. at Wake the Dead Coffee House. The event will feature music by Vic Cole and will hold a short program starting at 2:30 p.m.
The theme for this year’s birthday celebration is “Love Will Keep Us Together,” highlighting the importance of connection within the local LGBTQIA+ community. BPSF will provide updates about its economic justice programs as well as commemorate 15 years of being a dependable source of support for LGBTQIA+ residents in San Marcos and Hays County.
The event will also feature a silent auction with a matching gift of up to $2000. All proceeds are reinvested in the community through the Jeremy O. Torres Emergency Stabilization Fund, the Victor Saldivar academic scholarship or paid internships.
