The San Marcos Youth Baseball Softball Association had its Opening Ceremonies on March 22 to officially kick off the season. There are slightly over 300 kids participating in the program with approximately 75 adults coaching the teams. Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as on Saturdays. The season runs through the second weekend in May followed by an All Star competition where SMYBSA All Star teams will compete against teams throughout Central Texas and possibly beyond.
