PAWS Shelter of Central Texas will have their adoptable kittens and cats at PetSmart, located at 1050 McKinley Place Drive Suite 30, today, and for the rest of the weekend, from 12 to 5 p.m. This is in honor of PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. Go get a new friend and alleviate the stress on our local shelters.
In honor of National Youth Art Month, Centro Cultural Hispano, located at 211 Lee Street, will be having a youth art show from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Along with works of ArtSpace — Centro’s free art education program students — artworks by Crossroads Transitional Program students and Wonderland School students will be on display. There will be more than 130 artworks in different mediums.
