Spring is just around the corner and the Hays County Master Gardeners Association is holding its annual Spring plant and tree sale ending March 23. A popular event among gardeners, the sale features a wide variety of Spring and Summer vegetables, herbs, shrubs, and trees, many of which have been propagated from members' plantings and seeds.
In-person sales are March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Buda at the Buda Downtown Gazebo and Greenbelt, 319 Main Street, and at the Budaful Farmers Market at 204 San Antonio St.
Plants are locally grown, climate-ap- propriate plants specially propagated for the unique environment of Hays County.
Shoppers who purchased their plants online can pick up their purchases in Buda during the March 23 in-person event at the Buda Gazebo and Greenbelt, 319 Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Texas Master Gardener program is a volunteer service initiative designed to bring the best horticultural practices to residents throughout the state. To become a Texas Master Gardener, trainees complete a minimum of 50 hours of instruction conducted through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and then donate 50 hours of volunteer service back to their communities.
