The San Marcos High School Robotics team had two competitions over spring break: March 6 to 8 in Belton and March 13 to 15 in San Antonio.
According to robotics instructor Bradley Gaskill, the team finished 9th in the Belton competition and 6th in the San Antonio competition.
“We earned 60 ranking points, which in almost all scenarios is enough to advance to the state championship [that occurs] April 2 to 5,” Gaskill said. “We are currently ranked 29th in the state; there are still four events left.”
