The Lady Rattlers fell in the final regular season game, losing to the New Braunfels Canyon Cougarettes 3-1.
San Marcos finishes the regular season with an 118-2 overall record and a 6-5-1 district record.
Following last season, when the Lady Rattlers finished with just two wins and one district victory, San Marcos has bounced back to exponentially improve their record and qualify for the postseason for the first time since the 2022-2023 season.
The Lady Rattlers go into the Division II playoff bracket and will face the Medina Valley Panthers in the Bi-District round. Medina Valley is the champion of District 30 with an overall record of 17-1-2 and a district record of 11-0-1.
Kickoff for San Marcos- Medina Valley is for 7 p.m. Friday at Toyota Rattler Stadium in San Marcos.
