The Lady Rattlers tied the district leading Cibolo Steele Knights on Friday in a 1-1 draw.
San Marcos’ record goes to 11-7-2 overall and their district goes to 6-4-1. The tie still puts San Marcos in fourth place of District 29 as the Lady Rattlers continue their push towards the playoffs.
The Rattlers will play their final regular season game of the season at home Friday against New Braunfels Canyon. The Cougarettes are coming off a 7-0 win over the Judson Rockets.
With both San Marcos and Canyon set to enter the playoffs in the Division II bracket, the winner will determine the higher seed between the Lady Rattlers and the Cougarettes.
