The Lady Rattlers rolled over East Central on the road, beating the Hornets 8-0.
The win improves San Marcos’ record to 10-7-1 overall and their district record to 5-4. The Lady Rattlers currently sit in fourth place in the district standings and are in prime position to seal a postseason bid this week after finishing last season with only two wins.
Senior Daci Suarez finished the game completing the hat-trick, scoring three goals in the Lady Rattlers win.
Seniors Annalise Martinez and Kareena Rodriguez both finished the game with two goals apiece. Freshman Alexandria Hathcock scored one goal.
Martinez, Rodriguez, junior Ayeska Martinez and senior Lucero Alvarado all had one assist apiece for the Lady Rattlers.
San Marcos returns home for senior night as the Lady Rattlers host the Converse Judson Rockets. The Rockets are coming off a 5-0 loss to Cibolo Steele last Friday.
