It might have been a gloomy week, but it’s going to be a great weekend! Get your quiz team together and check out Scream Queens & Kings Trivia Night this Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. hosted by Broke Thespians Theatre Company. There will be themed mocktails and a snack bar to fuel your horror trivia team. The event is free, open to ages 13+ and located at the VFW at 1701 Hunter Road.
If you’re a fan of all things cute and kitschy, check out the Galentine’s Trinket Market & Trade Meet hosted by Trinket Girl Markets on Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m. at Industry, located at 110 East Martin Luther King Drive. The market includes local artists and collectors who will have booths where you can buy and trade trinkets of all kinds, from crochet creations to popular brands like Sonny Angels and Pop Mart. To keep the love going, the event coordinators are encouraging guests to bring valentines cards to exchange and will have some to swap at their booth.
