Love is in the air, and if you’re in the mood to memorialize that, I have the perfect event for you tonight. Local photographer Christopher Paul Cardoza will be taking couples photos at Zelicks from 5 p.m. to around 10 p.m. Now if you are without a lover, don’t you fret; you can love your pets too! Bring your furry friend in for a photo in lieu of a partner. You definitely don’t want to miss the chance to get a memento by one of the best photographers in town. Now, I have an educational event for you at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Calaboose African American History Museum is hosting a discussion on the history of the Mitchell Center at the Cepha’s House, located across the street from the museum. I have heard a little bit about its history, and it is rich! I’m very excited to take a deep dive into it.
