The Dunbar Heritage Association will host a Black History Month education event for elementary- school aged children on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Marcos Public Library. In partnership with the SMPL, this event will feature a classroom-style approach to learning about and celebrating the Black scientists, writers, educators and inventors who have made their mark on American history.
