HEART & ART AND HOPS & BOPS
As things warm up this weekend be sure to give your local artists some love and support. The Walkers’ Gallery has an opening reception tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center. “Close to my heART” is the theme of the show, celebrating things that local artists love and have deep personal connections to. The event is open to the public with refreshments provided and live music by Marshall Anderson.
Catch a beat and a burger Saturday at “Hops & Bops” at Middleton Brewery from 5 to 10 p.m. The event is an electronic and beat makers showcase curated by “andBops” founded by local musicians Mich D. White and Daniel Reinhuber. Featuring original music by Chief and TheDoomsDayDevice, Geoff B., Little Jack, Kinder, Kuvu, Sammy Xtreme, Summer Sleep and Sprrow.
