The San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees is set to hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday.
The board will hold elections for school board officers — president, vice-president and secretary — during the meeting.
The trustees will also consider action on budget amendments regarding increased food revenue and general revenue. The board is set to take action on a Texas Association School Board delegate and alternate delegate to represent SMCISD at the annual TASB convention on Sept. 20-22 in Dallas.
The trustees will consider approving the 2019-2020 school board meeting calendar. The board would continue holding regular meetings on every third Monday of the month at 6 p.m.
The board will hear a discussion and take possible action regarding trustee travel budget for 2019-2020, and consider approval of a trustee finance committee.
Monday’s meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at San Marcos High School, 2601 Rattler Rd., inside the criminal justice classroom.
